HOW CAN I DONATE CRYPTOCURRENCY TO CHRIST COMMUNITY HEALTH?

Donating crypto is safe, easy, and fast. Using the widget on this page, making a charitable gift is a quick three-step process:

Upon making a donation, you can elect to receive an automatically generated tax receipt that will be sent to the email address you provide. This confirmation of your donation will help you close the loop when calculating your taxes.

ARE CRYPTO DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTABLE?

Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. This makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax efficient ways to support Christ Community.

The IRS currently classifies cryptocurrency donations as property, meaning they are not subject to capital gains tax and are tax-deductible on your return. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

CAN I DONATE CRYPTO AND REMAIN ANONYMOUS?

Yes! Crypto donations can be given anonymously, donors simply check a box within the donation widget. Donors also have the option to still receive a donation receipt, via The Giving Block directly, meaning that you can still claim your crypto donation on your return but you have retained your anonymity with Christ Community Health.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

We do NOT offer refunds on cryptocurrency donations. All cryptocurrency donations are final and no goods, services or airdrops will be offered in exchange for cryptocurrency donations. An example of our donation refund policy is here.
